Donald M. Snyder, 69, of Slater, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, near Warsaw.
Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Rev. Lynn Snapp will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Born Dec. 26, 1993, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Urlik Snyder. On March 20, 1952, in East Chicago, Ind., he married Virginia F. Pippenger, who survives of the home. He was a retired corrections officer for the Boonville corrections facility and had lived in Slater since 1981, moving from Mountain Grove.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Katherine DeJong of Slater and Lenora A. Padderatiz of Henderson, Nev.; one son, Dwain Mark Snyder of Jefferson City; one brother, Frank Snyder of Sauk Village, Ill.; one sister, Margaret Simas of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers and one grandson.
