Freda Isabelle Glor, 74, of Macks Creed, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at Windsor Estates Care Center in Camdenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Macks Creek. David Stephenson and Tommy Parrack will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Hedges Funeral Home in Macks Creek. Interment will be in Macks Creek Cemetery in Macks Creek. Memorials are suggested to Lake Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 1, 1928, in northeast Hickory County, near Jordan, she was the daughter of the late Elvie "Ebb" and Lillie J. Bennett Parrack. On Sept. 9, 1946, she married Jessie J. Tolliver, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 25, 1951, she married William Glor, who preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1991. She was saved at the age of 11 in 1939 at Macks Creek and was baptized in the creek nearby. She worked at Banquet Foods in Marshall for 25 years and at Wal-Mart in Camdenton for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Macks Creek, the Branch Homemakers, Kindred Spririts and Bible study. She was also a choir member and was involved in the painting and arts class.
Survivors include two sons, James Tolliver and wife Glenda of Kansas City and Loyd L. Glor and wife Joanne of Candy Ohi, Minn.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph Tolliver and Loren Glor, who died Jan. 22, 1994.
