Louise Walker, 77, of Marshall, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Rev. N. Paul Callahan and Rev. Wayne Doolin will officiate. Pianist Julie Lewis will play "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and "Peace in the Valley." Soloist will be David Rimmer. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or The Living Center in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Feb. 27, 1926, in Wheatland, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Bartshe. On May 2, 1944, she married Lelin Walker, who survives. She had lived in Marshall since 1947 and was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Additional survivors include two sons, Franklin Lelin Walker and wife Juanita of Marshall and Alvin Greg Walker and wife Ann of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
