Danny Hass, 45, of Concordia, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Emma. Rev. Jerry Basye officiated. Pallbearers were Larry Maggert, Ray Schuknecht, David Rehmsmeyer, Greg Kunkel, Jeff Moseley and Chris Dittmer. Burial was in Matthew's Cemetery in Ernestville. Memorials are suggested to the Concordia ambulance district.
Born June 2, 1958, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Wayne Carl Hass and Vila Jean Schnakenberg Hass-Deuschle, who survives of Sedalia. He was a carpenter and had worked for Septagon Industries. He was a 1976 graduate of Concordia High School and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Additional survivors include stepfather Arthur Deuschle Jr. of Sedalia; three sons, Christopher Hass of Emma, Jeremy Hass of Concordia and Colby Hass of Emma; one brother, Bruce Hass of Sedalia; two sisters, Connie Shisler of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robbie Smith of Sedalia; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
