ADHD support group to hold meetings at library
The newly-formed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) support group is planning regular meetings for parents, educators and caregivers of children diagnosed with ADHD. The first meeting of this month will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, in the meeting room at the Marshall Public Library.
Another meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, also in the library meeting room. The June 25 meeting will include an open forum led by Benton Elementary School counselor John Stewart, and will encourage communication between all in attendance as they learn more about the disorder and how to work with children affected by it.
The support group will continue to meet at the library on the second Tuesday and fourth Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. For more information, contact Karrie Powers at (660) 831-0017.
