Haunted hayrides set in Waverly

Wednesday, October 16, 2002

The Santa Fe High School After-Prom Committee, made up of junior class parents, will be sponsoring haunted hayrides from 5 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, and again on Saturday, Oct. 26. The starting point for the rides will be the Waverly Community Center.

Two different routes are offered for a hauntingly good time - Vampire Alley and Nightmare Lane. The cost for the hayrides is $5 per person per route, with different ghosts, goblins and other scary things along each route.

Other events in addition to the hayrides will be children's games and activities and a "Tunnel of Doom" at the community center. Refreshments will also be available.

Proceeds will benefit the Santa Fe After-Prom activities. After-Prom is an alcohol- and drug-free alternative for students following traditional prom night activities.
