Sweet Springs couple charged with felony drug possession

The Saline County Prosecutor's office filed felony possession charges against a Sweet Springs man and woman Wednesday, Dec. 21, in a more than a year old drug seizure. Both Randy L. Snow, 61, and Sheila A. Schmitt, 53, were charged with the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. ...

City of Marshall gets gravel in its holiday stockings (Local News ~ 12/21/16)
The city of Marshall is turning big rocks into little rocks. Through use of a $30,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources through Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Division, the city expects to crush an estimated 4,400 tons of concrete into gravel the week before Christmas.
