Southern Commissioner Monte Fenner announced to Saline County Commission at its meeting Tuesday morning, July 29, that bids for the Wilton Springs No. 46 bridge will be arriving soon. "Received word from Rhodes Engineering yesterday afternoon and they're going to submit their invitation to bid tomorrow," Fenner said. "It will be advertised to bid the Wilton Springs (No.) 46 bridge and (on Aug. 21), we will open bids on that and proceed from there. It looks like this bridge is going to be built."... -
