Two out of three suspects of a recent armed robbery in Marshall are now in the custody of the Marshall Police Department. Vincent Barriere, known as "New York," was captured Wednesday night, July 24, in Sedalia on a Saline County Warrant. Barriere, 30, of Belton, and two other individuals were charged Thursday, July 18, for entering a home in Marshall, fighting the owner, displaying a weapon and stealing several items from the home...

It's tradition for the county horse show to be the second Saturday of the Saline County Fair and it turned out to be a spectacular day for area youth. Rain moved in toward the end of the show and cooled off the hot temperatures, but it didn't stop the determined exhibitors from racing for that first place finish...
