Tourism Commission to decide on multiple grant requests for 2011

The Chamber Tourism Committee is requesting roughly $79,000 from Marshall Tourism Commission to disperse to multiple organizations throughout the Marshall area. The commission met this morning, Wednesday, Nov. 17, to review the separate grant applications from those groups affiliated with the Chamber. Requests vary from several hundred dollars for radio and newspaper advertisements, to several thousand for statewide advertising, such as buying space in Missouri Life magazine...
