    A section of West Arrow Street from Lafayette Avenue west to Benton Avenue was closed Saturday, July 18, while crews applied a new asphalt surface.
  • * At the fair: County youth earn payoff for hard work at Junior Livestock Sale (Local News ~ 07/18/09)
    The first twelve sellers at the Saline County Fair Junior Livestock Sale Friday, July 17, earned $8,325 for their grand and reserve grand champion animals and hams. The grand total sales for the event was $56,325, according to results released by Saline County Extension.
