Marshall Booster Club holds annual meeting June 23

The club, which supports both academic and athletic endeavors of MHS students, voted to give $100 to help student Jacob Stanton attend the national Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) contest for which he has qualified. State Fire Marshal urges Missourians to use fireworks safely

Missouri State Fire Marshal Randy Cole encouraged Missourians to enjoy the Fourth of July but exercise caution when using consumer fireworks, according to a news release from his office. "Those most at risk for fireworks-related injuries are children, who may not fully understand the danger of even novelty items such as sparklers," Cole said. "The safest way to enjoy fireworks on the Fourth of July is to watch one of the many professional displays held in communities throughout the state."...
