Marshall school board gives approval to budget in the black

With days to spare, the Marshall Board of Education approved its budget for the upcoming school year in a special meeting held Tuesday morning. Joe Aull, who ends a seven-year stint as superintendent Wednesday, said the budget is usually adopted at the June board meeting and then revised by administrators throughout the summer.
