Courthouse to be closed morning of Sept. 11 The Saline County Courthouse will be closed and the south side of the square will be the spot for a ceremony to be held Wednesday morning in remembrance of those who perished during the terrorism attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Two killed in weekend crashes

A pair of fatal crashes in Saline County claimed two lives over the weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the first crash occurred at 8:15 p.m. Friday on Missouri Highway 20 almost a mile west of Route Z. The report states that John O.
