YMCA Day Camp kids help the food pantry

YMCA Day Camp kids presented Ron Duvall with a whole cart full of donations for the food pantry on Friday, Aug. 5. Duvall explained at a recent InterAgency Council meeting that the food pantry has struggled with donations because so many supplies have been sent to Joplin. The campers were eager to help and excited to present Duvall with the donations.

Hunters contributed more than 4,000 pounds worth of deer meat during Community Food Pantry's Share the Harvest Campaign. The Marshall school board received a report on the 2008-2009 audit, which was fine, and on the budget outlook, which was not so fine, at its meeting Tuesday, Nov. 24.
