Snow storm damage and cleanup
February 26, 2013
The second snow storm to hit Saline County in Feb. 2013 was a wet, heavy snow that caused more damage than the first storm less than a week earlier. Power lines and trees were weighed down and residents were urged to stay indoors. The storm started on the evening of Monday, Feb. 25 and continued into the day on Tuesday, Feb. 26. As the storm slowed on Tuesday, pedestrians and motorists began to venture out onto the streets.
