2008 Saline County BBQ: Talent show

The crowning of the fair queens is a culmination of a day-long celebration, but the talent show is in some ways the heart of the event. Area kids and adults sing, dance and play music all afternoon and into the evening, providing entertainment for the many people gathered on the square. Here we offer images of a selection of the performers in the 2008 talent show, organized, as always, by Elmer Zimmerman. Democrat-News Publisher Shelly Arth served as the emcee.
