MVC Jazz Band Oct. 20 concert

The Missouri Valley College Jazz Band performed its first concert of the season Thursday, Oct. 20, in Eckilson-Mabee Theatre. The band is directed by Garry Anders, Charles Ferguson and Chuck Appleton. Anders conducted, while Ferguson played trombone and Appleton played trumpet. The program included a range of pieces, from Benny Carter's "Vine Street Rumble" to Chick Corea's "Spain."
