MVC dance clinic

Youth-area dancers performed with Missouri Valley College's Repertory Dance Ensemble during the half-time show at the Vikings v. Ravens basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 5. The group of nine youths and nine dancers had two hours to prepare a routine to "Hairspray's" You Can't Stop the Beat before dashing onto the court for the halftime performance. Each youth was assigned to a Repertory Dance Ensemble dancer that helped guide them through the choreography. While the Repertory Dance Ensemble dancers took turns leading the warm-ups and teaching choreography, the clinic was facilitated by Missouri Valley College's Assistant Professor of Dance Janie Morgan.
