Slater After Prom Donkey Basketball

Local volunteers mounted up Thursday, Feb. 23, risking bumps and bruises in the rough and tumble game of donkey basketball -- all for a good cause. The event at Slater High School gym brought in money for the After Prom event. Teams sponsored by State Bank of Slater, Slater High School and Wood and Huston Bank competed. Slater school staff's team prevailed, winning the tie-breaker game 2-0 versus a team of high school boys.
