Corn Husking Education Day 2011October 13, 2011
Students from Hardeman, Sweet Springs, Slater, Butterfield Youth Services, Marshall, St. Peter School as well as Knob Noster home-schooled students gathered at Saline County Fairground for the annual Corn Husking Education Day. The witnessed the art of corn husking, learned how to grind corn as well as witnessed a variety of outdated methods of manufacturing goods and completing household chores.
