Van Meter State Park Field Trip

Eighth graders from Bueker Middle School, in Marshall, learned about nomadic and frontier life in early American history. Teachers organized a field trip to Van Meter State Park Tuesday, Sept. 21, where students transferred between stations such as an outdoor skills program, a trading post, hunting safety, spear throwing, habitat location and learned about animal furs.
