A blizzard in the making

With wind gusts sometimes reaching 40 mph and snow accumulation expected to be between 8-12 inches Tuesday, Feb. 1, the blizzard warning remains in effect until noon Wednesday. The dangerous conditions limited visibility to 1/4 of a mile or less, often resembling thick fog.
