2011 Houston E. Mull FFA Memorial Scholarship Steak Dinner and Auction

After the trail ride, more than 450 people took part in a steak dinner and auction at the Saline County Fairground. Between the auction, ride and a breakfast held earlier, early totals indicate over $10,000 was raised. All the proceeds go toward the Houston E. Mull FFA Memorial Scholarship. In just seven years, over $72,500 in scholarships has been given to Marshall, Malta Bend, Santa Fe, Slater and Sweet Springs students. In 2010, the FFA groups started taking over more of the organization for the event.
