2011 Saline County Fair Awards Ceremony

2011 Saline County Fair Awards Ceremony was held on Sunday, July 17, in the multi-purpose building. A large number of awards were handed out and long-time fair volunteer Kaye Wright was honored with a standing ovation.
Saline County Fair Association President Sam Igo hugs longtime association treasurer and volunteer Kaye Wright. During the Awards Ceremony held on July 17, it was announced Wright will be inducted into the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame on Aug. 14 at the Missouri State Fair. She received a standing ovation from the 4-H and FFA members and parents at the Awards Ceremony.

Jade Jenkins received the Livestock Traveling Trophy from longtime Saline County Fair volunteer Kaye Wright. It was the first time since the trophy has been given out that a female was presented the award. The trophy was handed out during the 2011 Saline County Fair Awards Ceremony held on Sunday, July 17.

At the annual Awards Ceremony High Point winners were awarded watches donated by Sturhahn Jewelers of Marshall. The High Point winners in livestock exhibits for 2011 were: Simeon Buie and Julissa Monnig. Also pictured are Saline County Fair Queens Sandy Patel and Mikalah Vogelsmeier.
