The village of Arrow Rock celebrates the J. Huston Tavern with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Oct. 8, at 4:30 p.m. The tavern had experienced a fire in May 2019 and the kitchen was rebuilt. Several members of the Missouri State Parks, as well as John and Donna Huston, Friends of Arrow Rock Executive Director Sandy Selby and Arrow Rock Historic Site Administrator Mike Dickey were in attendance. Speeches were given prior to the ribbon cutting, where everyone got a free water and cookie with a picture of the 1834 restaurant.
