Five Bueker Middle School teachers were chosen to endure pies thrown in their faces as part of a fundraiser during the school's Owl Pride Assembly Tuesday, Dec. 20. Library Media Specialist Katie Berger, Eighth Grade Teacher Julie Hieronymus, Seventh Grade Teacher Justin Van Winkle, Sixth Grade Teacher Gynnah Gaudreau and Fifth Grade Teacher Mandy Beerman all received a pie in the face because their classes had raised the most funds during the school's "Dollars for Our Dog" fundraiser. Students were asked to bring monetary donations to school and put them in the corresponding jar of the teacher they wanted a pie thrown at.
