After a wet weekend and with wet week predicted, Marshall students, parents and school staff got a break Monday, Aug. 17, as the sun peeked out long enough for school to get under way. Below are photos taken just before classes began at Marshall High School and Bueker Middle School.

The first day of school was a wet one after a rainy weekend, but the sun peeped out long enough for students to get to class without getting soaked. The same could not be said for getting home. Early dismissal at 12:30 p.m. occurred in the middle of a downpour.
