Planning aheadPosted Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 1:03 PM
I am absolutely horrible at knowing what to get at the grocery store. Sure, I go and get milk or bread when I am out of it, but I am terrible at planning a meal or making sure I have everything for the week. I also tend to just get what I know I need for one or two recipes and then I have no way to make anything else the rest of the week.
In an attempt to be better at this and hopefully save time and money, I have printed off weekly planner sheets from a site I found on Pinterest, of course. The sheets provide a way for me to lay out what I have going on that week and a weekly menu box to plan meals for the week. It also has a grocery list box. I am going to try it out when I go to the store tonight. I hope that with sitting down and really planning out my meals for the week I will be less tempted to go through the drive through if I know what I'm making when I get home.
