Boom Town USA

Posted Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 2:16 PM

John M. "Jack" Schultz, author of "Boom Town USA" will be in Marshall Friday, April 4, at the Martin Community Center, to talk to the Mayor's Poverty to Prosperity Summit.

His presentation, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, will be open to the members of the public for a fee of $10, payable at the registration table in the Martin Center.

From your responses to the Shop Local and Speak Out blogs, I know there are a lot of people interested, and I urge you to attend. Copies of the book will be available at the presentation.

Kathy,

Thanks for your message but I will not be able to attend tomorrow afternoon. I did visit Mr. Schultz's website and was able to watch a couple videos from his speeches. Should be a very motivational afternoon.
