Jetta is Fast, Sleek and Smart!

We'd like for you to meet Jetta, a black lab mix currently staying at the Marshall Animal Shelter. Jetta is housetrained and is very smart. She knows several commands, and absolutely LOVES to play ball, and she will actually bring it back to you! She is beautiful and good with kids. We have young volunteers who love to come and play with the dogs, and Jetta is often their first choice of dogs that they want to play ball with. Jetta has almost always shared a kennel with other dogs, and has the ability to get along with most dogs. She does have a lot of energy, and a fenced yard where she can run would be in her ideal home. She also LOVES the water, and would enjoy a big water tub, small wading pool or even a pond to satisfy her aquatic interests.

Jetta has been adopted several times, but has always been returned only because she was left unsupervised in the house and she can be destructive when left alone. Previous adopters have never had any other problems or concerns about Jetta, and have always described her as a great dog that they hated to give up. Any adoptive family needs to understand this and know that she is fine in the house when they are at home, and she is perfectly fine to be outside too. Jetta has been at the Shelter for a long time, and she is ready to find a real home with her own family to love and play with.
