Today We'd Like For You To Meet..........

We'd like for you to meet Walph--we call her Walphie. She is a shar-pei mix. Walphie has been with us for a long time, and she is ready to find a real home. She came to us in a terrible shape; she had virtually no fur at all on her body. We thought at first she had mange. The vet was able to inform us that she just had a skin condition (this can be typical in shar-peis), and she took antibiotics to clear it up. Walphie looks soooooo much better, healthier and happier than she did when she first arrived. She will probably always have some skin issues, so her new family will want to keep a close eye on her. Since her fur is pretty thin, she may need to be an indoor dog.

Walphie loves people and is such a friendly, honest gal. She is housetrained and is able to get along with other dogs by sharing a kennel with them. We find her to be great to work with and she is so grateful for time spent with her people. Now, let's be honest--Walphie isn't going to win any beauty contests. But we think she more than makes up for her looks with her friendly, honest face and enthusiastic attitude.
