Perspective of an energetic dogPosted Friday, February 17, 2012, at 9:55 AM

I can't go out into the yard anymore. When I went to the dog doctor they said I had heartworms. It didn't bother me much to have heartworms, but apparently it bothered the doctor, because I had to take medicine and now I have to be quiet for a whole month. I don't like quiet. I can't run. I can't go out into the yard. And when I take a walk I have to walk s-l-o-w-l-y. I don't like that! I heard somebody say that I could take a pill once a month and never have to have heartworms again. That must mean I would never have to be QUIET again. I would like that. Why didn't I get to take those pills before? I don't know. Maybe somebody can explain that to me. Gotta go, I'm going to go dream about rabbits.... Epilogue: Elvis successfully completed his treatment for heartworms, and he was adopted recently! We have many delightful dogs looking for good homes. Give us a call at 660-831-0420.
