Nicholas-Beazley founder to make 'appearance' at Marshall library March 22

Posted Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 10:25 AM

The third in our series -- "History Speaks: Interviews with the Past" will be held next week, Thursday, March 22, at 6:30 p.m.

These programs have been very popular and you won't want to miss the chance to meet one of the esteemed founders of the Nicholas-Beazley Airplane Company.

Bryan Berlin will be portraying this local figure, and Anita Wright will be interviewing him as he shares the legacy of Russell Nicholas and Howard Beazley -- both fascinating members of Saline County history.

Other upcoming events include the monthly Pitch Game Saturday, March 17, at 2 p.m., and the Lit Wits Book Club on Wednesday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m.

Are we to guess which he is portraying, Russell, or Howard?

I'm hoping that playing it coy will bring more people to the library.
