Vroom! is coming! Derick Samson at Marshall library Oct. 13Posted Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 3:35 PM
Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m., the library will host Derick Samson as he describes how he turned one of his life's passions into his livelihood.
Weather permitting, Derick will have one of his vintage cars on display in the library parking lot. For those history lovers and music lovers out there, the Library of Congress launched a National Jukebox this past Spring. According to their website, "The Library of Congress presents the National Jukebox, which makes historical sound recordings available to the public free of charge. They offer everything from Civil War music to recordings from the 1921 Ziegfeld Follies. It doesn't require you to download anything -- you simply go to the website (http://www.loc.gov/jukebox/) and browse the selections. Happy listening!

Oklahoma,
It's always nice to hear back from people, to realize that my words don't disappear into the void. Glad you enjoyed the link.
Amy thank you very much for providing the link to the National Jukebox. I have spent a nice evening exploring its treasures.
