Marshall library to host inspiring author, inspiring auto artistPosted Monday, October 10, 2011, at 8:52 AM
The library is delighted to host author CarolLee Miles for an author signing of her recent book, "Getting Paid to Cruise: Secrets of a Professional Cruise Host." CarolLee, a former Marshall resident now living in Colorado, shares her professional and personal advice for finding that "just right" career.
Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m., the library will offer its patrons plenty of Vroom! Derick Samson is well-known in the community for his award-winning automotive design business. Come and hear how Derick turned one of his life's passions into his livelihood. Weather permitting, Derick will have one of his vintage cars on display in the library parking lot. Some of you may have noticed a few changes to the library's website this week. We tweaked a few things but our biggest addition is that our website is now available in both English and Spanish. To access the Spanish version, simply click on the "En Espaņol" link to the left of the logo.
