Good Evening:
I know this is extremely short notice; but I am trying to get the word out about a meeting tomorrow (Sunday 28th). There has been a new coordinator appointed for Saline County for the Obama campaign. There is a meeting @ 5:00pm tomorrow to try to begin making plans for voter registration, canvassing, telephone work and mobilization efforts. If you are interested or know of anyone that would like to take an active role in the historical effort, please encourage them to join us. If anyone cannot attend, feel free to e-mail or call me and we will keep you informed of plans as they are developed. The meeting will be held @ the Democratic headquarters (102 E Morgan). I will keep you informed, if you are interested in helping but cannot attend. Just let me know. Ron Monnig has more than 35 years of experience working with civic, community and political groups. He has served in elected, appointed and volunteer positions since high school. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Government from Columbia College. He is a Democratic party activist; VP of Saline County Democrat Club, Member of Democrat Central Committee of Saline County.
