Kyle Busch celebrates his 5th win this season.

Kyle Busch:
After having one of the worst cars all weekend Kyle Busch rallied back for his 5th win of the season. Kyle qualified 30th on Friday and was horrible in both practices. The guys in the garage worked all weekend changing and fixing things and finally got it right. You have to give to the #18 crew this win was all on them, we know Kyle is a great driver but a driver is only as good as his car and those who work on it. It's always good to see "rowdy" Busch in victory lane and I think we might as well get used to it because he isn't slowing down any time soon. Oh and I'll go out on a limb here and say that Kyle Busch will be the Sprint Cup champion this year…like it or not.
David Gilliland:
Its been a long time since we saw David Gilliland contending for a win in fact I think you'll find it was when he was the M&M's driver. So it was great to see him up front and really doing a great job all day on Sunday. Although he walked away the runner up I think him and the whole Yates Racing team will finally have some momentum to carry on the rest of the season and see a few more top 10's.
Matt Kenseth:
After working his tail off the past few weeks Matt Kenseth finally finds himself in the coveted top 12. He is going to be a guy to watch come chase time, he has already proved this year that he can pull something out of nothing.
The Sour:
Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray:
Not too much to say here, Tony and Jamie were in the wrong place at the wrong time and with both drivers needing to have good runs at Sonoma it was sad to see them get taken out with only a few laps to go. Tony hasn't fallen out of the top 12 yet but he has got to start getting some good finishes or he will find himself outside looking in come chase time.
Rumors and Raves:
NASCAR is more than just drive fast and turn left, there are sponsors and trades and deals and all sorts of juicy gossips too… This week the new rumors are all about big moves, which drivers are in and which ones are out. Tony Stewart will start us off if you follow NASCAR at all you have heard the rumors about Tony leaving Joe Gibbs Racing, same rumor new option for Mr. Stewart. Rumor has it that Haas CNC Racing is looking to make Stewart a 50% owner and driver. This would appeal to Stewart because Haas CNC gets their Chevrolet engines and other support from Hendrick Motor Sports and we all know that Stewart is a Chevy kind of a guy and things just haven't been the same at JGR for Stewart since their move to Toyota. Good move or bad move I don't know, if it were up to me I would have Tony stay at JGR.
Now for the good stuff apparently Casey Mears will be out of his Hendrick Motor Sports ride at the end of the season. Never fear this isn't the last we will see of Casey the rumor mill is saying that Mr. Mears might be taking the wheel of a 4th Richard Childress car. Good for Casey hopefully he can get some recognition over there and won't have to be the so-called redheaded stepchild of HMS anymore. So if all the above is true that leaves the number 5 open next season and who better to step in than veteran driver Mark Martin (running a limited schedule like this year) with Nationwide driver Brad Keselowski. Keselowski is currently driving for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the Nationwide series and is doing a pretty great job, he might ready to race with the big boys…maybe we should ask Denny Hamlin…

Kyle Busch BLOWS.
yomomma- who do you like...lol
Mark Martin deserves to get with a racing team that cares about their drivers. It is apparent DEI does not. Junior and Mark in the same house sounds interesting to me.
Kyle Busch more than blows, Yo. He tops my "most hated" list. HATE to see him win!!!
Edwards, baby!!!!
Kyle Bush if he cannt beat them he'll wreck them.
