'Ted' opens at Marshall CinemaPosted Friday, August 17, 2012, at 5:40 PM
Marshall Cinema will start screenings of the movie "Ted" today. This is the funniest movie I've seen so far this year. It's about a boy who gets a teddy bear for Christmas one year. He wishes the teddy bear were alive, and through the magic of movies his wish comes true. But, this is not the family friendly magical tale one might expect from such a premise. The story skips ahead some thirty years and we discover that like the boy, the bear has grown into adulthood, at least in his mind. He still retains the cute little teddy bear exterior, but he's foul-mouthed and engages in behavior reserved only for adults. This is not a movie for the easily offended.
Also opening this week is the more family friendly "ParaNorman" in 3D. Read my original review for "Ted" here. |
