There has been some types of Socialism in the U.S.A since the industrial revolution and before! The unions were formed to protect the workers, Social Security, Roosevelt was a Socialist,( to an extent) several of the Presidents were Socialist! The greatest things happened during that time, for the workers, the Country, for the World! The Governments are the only entity big enough to handle the catastrophes people go through in the Country! So now we have a Republican Capital & Ideology that wants your Taxes for nothing but Wars & give to other Countries! To hell with Flint Michigan ! To hell with Katrina victims! This Republican Brand has to go ! Or we will have another crisis that will take this Country under ! You've seen all these fools in their Debates! There is nothing from those People that makes since, NOTHING!! Cleanout the Congress & Senate! There is so much cleaning to do but we can do it if everyone will vote!!

When was last time u actually looked up the definition of socialism? Cause I did first, then found my points. Not saying there aren't some things run like socialism, but not nearly as much as u seem to think.

Old School: I think you're confusing extreme Communism, with Socialism!
