Road Closings in Saline County to start Wednesday

Culvert replacements will temporarily close the following roads in Saline County during the next two weeks, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

- Both lanes of both outer roads at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Route 127, just north of Sweet Springs, will close Wednesday, June 29.

- Both northbound and southbound lanes of Route O, at the intersection of Route 41 in Marshall, will close June 29 - 30.

- Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Route F at the intersection of Route O, north of Slater and east of Miami from June 30 - July 5.

I get it, having a dissenting opinion is a way to in the future say I told you so if the ruling gets changed. But we already knew your opinion because you voted against it. Fine have your opinion out there all you want, but it only means anything if the court changes its mind. And even then, the opinion is really only good for someone to say "see I told you so". It doesn't really cause any change by itself or have any effect on the fact the ruling still stands. It's simply an opinion on a topic, something we all have. It's duly noted & life goes on.

For further education on this topic, I found this to be much more well written than anything I could come up with.

Probably shorter too.


Sure doesn't hurt to hear it from someone who actually is an attorney, former judge, and Supreme Court Justice.
