Weren't there also wildfires last fall?
Many expensive problems caused by natural disasters. Whether you live in an area prone to floods, where homes need to be built on foundations to withstand flooding or in areas subject to tornadoes it may be time to follow the guidelines of FL and AL in strengthening building codes. Interesting to learn that clay soil is the reason few homes in OK have basements. So safe rooms or cores may be the only option.
May the people heal and Moore rise to be "better" for all.

It appears we are going to have more storms today (third day in a row) though they are not projected to be as severe as those of the last two days.
This last year we have recieved minor earthquake damage to our home, minor hail damage on multiple occasions, unparalleled destructive heat, and unprecedented killing frost in May. Our water reservoirs are drying up, the worst one at 20 percent of capacity.
We have in essence a one party state government. Folks argue as to whether all this is God's will, or man's will.
Having said all that it is amazing how folks here unite to face disasters such as this.
